Q: Do I need to make an appointment?
A: No. You may walk in your tote once a week (Tues , Wed or Thur 9am - 3pm) without an appointment. 


Q: What if I I work all week and can't walk in?

A: Then you can make an appointment Friday or Saturday
 
Q: Are you still taking white garbage bags and boxes?
A:  No. Plastic storage totes with lids only please. 
 
Q: What size tote can I bring in?
A: Your tote or bin can be no more than 14 gallons (56 qt size) must have a lid
 
Q: What if I don't have a tote?

Q: How do I identify my drop off as mine?
A: Write your Full name and account number on a piece of paper placed inside the top of your tote.
 
Q: Do I get my tote back?
A:  Not your exact tote. Since everyone will be bringing them in, we will hand you a clean sanitized empty tote when you drop off your tote.
 
Q: What if my tote doesn't have a lid?
A:  Please be sure you have a tote with a lid. We can not accept your tote without a lid.
 
Q: What if my storage bin is larger than 14 gallons?
A:   Due to storage limitations, we can not accept a bin larger than 14 gallons.
 
Q: Are you still taking small grocery bags?
A:  Yes, you can still drop off (1) small plastic grocery bag once a week. 
 
Q: Can I bring in a small bag with my tote? 
A:  No. Its one or the other, once a week
 
Q: What if I have oversized items?
A: Any item like lamps, large toys or small tables and pictures and mirrors can be brought in anytime, just like before. Be sure your name and account number is on each oversized loose item.
 
Q: What do I do with the stained, broken and damaged items?
A: Please take them to your local recycling center.

FOR CLOTHING ITEMS PICK YOUR BEST 20 Pieces
We will be taking summer clothing.
These seasonal styles include shorts, skirts, capris, jeans, tanks, short sleeve, summer dresses, swim suits and complete PJ's. 
In order to ensure all clothing is processed for everyone before the summer season ends we are asking you to look over your items and pull out all stained or damaged pieces.
We can not process these items anyway. 

Only Bring us your best 20 pieces inside your tote once a week. 

Q: Do I have to bring just clothing in my tote or can I bring other items too?

A:  Yes you can bring other items in your tote, just keep clothing to 20 items at a time.

What Do you Take on Consignment?
We take almost everything! Really!  

Except for these items
The Puzzle Piece carries everything you need for yourself, your family and your home- inside & out, for him and for her! Select your in-season items, shoes and other household goods and prepare them in accordance to our procedures explained below.

Consignor Returns
We will no longer be able to offer returning damaged, broken or out of style items we can not sell. Holding these items for pickup requires a lot of space that we will just not be able to provide once we start incoming again. These items will be noted in your account as DONATED or RECYCLED with a description, ie: 
Recycled toy: broken
Donated 3 shirts: Out of season
So please be sure to double check your items to be sure they are in season or for damage before bringing them in.


                                                              

Prepare Your Items              
Only Smaller pieces of furniture. RULE OF THUMB: If it requires 2 people to carry it, we can't. 
WIPE clean Everything:  Mirrors, Shoes (soles as well), Toys, Tools, Etc.

Make certain ALL consigned items are clean & ready for display.

All soft items: clothing, pillows and bedding must be freshly laundered, free of stains, cigarette smoke and pet hair. 

Breakables should be protected and capable of being stacked and stored.

We reserve the right to refuse any item that does not meet these requirements.

BATTERIES: Please be sure all toys, watches and other gadgets have working batteries.  
Additional Fees:$.25 per "AAA" & "AA" battery - $1.00 per "C" & "D" battery  ​

10% extra cleaning fee applied to each item requiring more than a light dusting
