WHY THE CHANGE?
As we enter our 10th year we have been thinking about the future of The Puzzle Piece, including the reason we even started our little shop to begin with.
Our son, Scott is the reason.
Diagnosed with autism at the age of 4, Scott was 11 years old when we started this venture. Now at 21 it’s time to bring him into the shop where he can work gaining valuable life skills improving his quality of life.
From the first day we turned on our lights our mission has always been to support the special needs community by advocating for and providing employment opportunities.
We know this is a huge change for everyone, including us! We are very excited about the future of The Puzzle Piece and moving forward to support our original mission.
